Medway Youth Awards 2019

The Medway Youth Awards celebrate the achievements and contribution of young people and adults who go above and beyond to help our community thrive.

Medway Youth Council, in partnership with Medway Council, announced the winners of the awards on Tuesday, 9 July, at Priestfield Stadium in Gillingham.

Recognising young people for their incredible achievements

Thomas Baldock, Chair of Medway Youth Council, said: “The awards are vital in ensuring that young people, and those that work with young people, have a chance to be recognised for the incredible achievements they have made in the past year. It’s about rewarding them for their hard work and showing them that we really appreciate everything that they do. I would like to thank the Youth Service Team for all of their work as well as our winners and nominees.”

Celebrating the fantastic young people in Medway

Leader of Medway Council, Cllr Alan Jarrett, said: “It’s incredibly important that we celebrate the fantastic young people who are living, working or attending school in Medway as well as all youth workers, coaches, teachers, parents and carers who help inspire them. Congratulations to all of our winners and to everyone who was nominated for an award.”
