Member of UK Youth Parliament Application

Talking in Parliament

The UK Youth Parliament provides opportunities for 11-18-year olds to use their elected voice to bring about social change through meaningful representation and campaigning.

MYPs across the UK work to give young people a voice – listening to marginalised groups, organising events, making films, meeting MPs, lobbying for change, organising campaigns and appearing in the media, all to amplify the views of their peers.

Their 2 year term features attending conferences, the House of Commons, meetings with decision makers and more. They also have a prominent role in running Make Your Mark, the national campaign to survey the voice of young people on the most important issue facing them
