What is COVID: The Effect on Youth?
COVID: The Effect on Youth is an alternative to the Medway Youth Council's annual conference and will be looking at how COVID has impacted young people’s mental wellbeing and their futures.

What Are Our Aims?
We want to help and support young people with their mental wellbeing, and signpost support organisations that can help them. We want to interview young people to understand directly how COVID has impacted their mental wellbeing and future opportunities.
What Are We Providing?
The Medway Youth Council members have made a Mental Wellbeing support pack that includes coping techniques, helpful organisations, mindsets and other useful info. To download this support pack, please use the download links in the green box below!

Additionally, we are facilitating a Q&A Session for young people and other members of the community to submit questions to a panel of experts. (More Info Coming Soon!)

We have made videos about organisations dedicated to helping young people, created resources that will be sent out to PSHE leads in schools all over Medway and will submit a report on our findings to Medway Council.
What is your opinion?
As a part of our campaign, the Medway Youth Council has made a survey for the young people in Medway. The survey aims to gather information on how Young People have been affected by COVID.

If you are between 11&18 years old, and live, work, or go to school in Medway, we would love you to fill in the form!

The form closes on the 21st of April.
Question & Answer Livestream
Medway Youth Council will be hosting a Question-and-Answer Livestream on the 30th of April with some Mental Health and Education Experts. It will be a great interactive event where the attendees can ask questions to the panel on various topics about how COVID has affected the Young People of Medway. If you have a question which you would like to ask the experts, please fill in the form on this page!
